How To Install via UNetbootin

1. Download c4clrs32.iso or c4clrs64.iso
2. Download UNetbootin and allow executing as a program
3. Insert a 4 GB or larger USB flash drive
4. Format (or re-format) the USB flash drive as FAT / FAT32.
5. Double-click UNetbootin and enter your password.
6. Select the Diskimage radio button and click the [ ... ] button.
7. Choose the c4clrs32.iso or c4clrs64.iso

UNetbootin will extract the iso (generate a syslinux config file) and make the USB flash drive bootable on any computer that supports booting from USB
8. When duplication is complete; choose Exit instead of Reboot Now unless you are planning to install C4C on the same computer.

9. Safely remove the USB flash drive by unmounting it (unless you will be installing on the same computer) and wait 2-3 seconds before physically removing it from the computer.

Insert the USB flash drive in an open USB port on the target computer.

USB Install C4C Lubuntu ReSpin

Power-up the computer (enter the BIOS to ensure the USB drive is recognized and if necessary, change the boot order to make the USB drive first priority) and boot the computer with the USB flash drive.

RUN LIVE
Running the C4C Lubuntu 16.04 ReSpin live may be used to demonstrate, or try out the OS without making any permanent changes to your computer. If asked for a password during a Live session, it is c4c1604.

Use C4C USB to Rescue Files
As long as the hard disk drive spins up; running live may also be used to "rescue" files from a computer that no longer works properly and/or wipe all the files.

INSTALLING

WARNING: Installation will ERASE the current Operating System

You may have chosen to boot into the System installer. If running Live, go to Menu --> Sound & Video --> Mouse Mover. This should keep the screen from blanking.

Mouse Mover

Go to Menu --> System Tools --> Systemback. Choose the System install button from within Systemback.

System install

Regardless of whether you're running live, or you went straight to the System installer; fill out the System Install Form: name of the new user, username (lower case), password (a good mix of letters, numbers and special characters is recommended) and hostname (name of the computer on your network).
