SHARING

Sharing a Lubuntu-connected printer with other computers.

Right-click the icon of the printer. From the drop-down menu, go to Properties --> Policies. Check Enabled, Accepting Jobs and Shared

Then, go to Administration --> Printing --> Server --> Settings. Check Publish Shared Printers Connected to this System

If you plan on sharing with Windows: install SAMBA
Go to Menu --> Accessories --> LXTerminal (or Ctrl+Alt+T)
At the prompt, type:
sudo apt-get install samba smbfs[Enter] or [return]
