PURPOSE
As one part of the Body of Christ, we seek to lead unbelievers to a right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to nurture believers in discipleship. To that end, Computers4Christians maintains a free, evangelical, born again Christian Linux distribution (computer operating system like Windows or MacOS X) that users can run live from a USB key, SD Card or DVD. Running live means desktops, towers or laptops will use the media they booted from, allowing people to safely explore the distro without making any changes to their current system. Running live can also be used to rescue files from computers that no longer work properly – even ones riddled with viruses. We pray every C4C Ubuntu user will be brought to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, or grow closer to God.
A LITTLE HISTORY
Computers4Christians (C4C) was formed by three Christian computer geeks in 2011. Over 1,000 times, we refurbished donated hardware, installed our own Christian Linux distribution, and redistributed desktops and laptops for free to witness and disciple.
